FPCA Homeowners Division Meeting Scheduled for Monday, October 28 at 11 a.m.

Florida Property and Casualty Association Homeowners Division Members:
The FPCA Homeowners Division meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and will continue to meet bi-weekly until further notice. The conference call number: 800.369.1285; conference code: 7468537#
An agenda for the meeting is attached and minutes from the September 30, 2013 and October 14, 2013 meeting are attached as well.
As reminder, we plan to have an in-person meeting in Tallahassee during the November committee meeting week, November 4th – 8th. We expect to hold this meeting on Tuesday, November 5th or Wednesday, November 6th. On November 5, 2013, we also expect Representative Bryan Nelson, the chair of the House Insurance & Banking committee, to host a meeting with insurers or other interested parties to discuss a private market flood program for Florida. Representative Nelson’s primary focus is on companies that currently write excess flood or companies that are interested in writing a primary flood policy.
