Former Miami-Dade County Assistant State Attorney Carolyn Gilbert Epstein is a Partner at Colodny Fass, representing the Firm’s property and casualty insurance clients in litigation and complex commercial matters involving first-party property claims, Special Investigative Unit (SIU) investigations, general liability and various complex insurance coverage disputes, many involving the defense and prosecution of fraudulent insurance claims.

In her former private practice, Ms. Epstein handled cases involving contracts, securities matters and complex commercial litigation disputes.

She earned her J.D. from University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.

She serves on the Executive Board and volunteers as the Mentor Coordinator of LEAP (Ladies Empowerment & Action Program), a non-profit women’s re-entry entrepreneurial program at Homestead Correctional Institution.
