Florida Surplus Lines Service Office To Review New Agent/Agency Continuing Education Requirements in March 27 Webinar

The Florida Surplus Lines Service Office (“FSLSO”) has advised that registration is now open for its March 27, 2014 “Member’s Forum,” which will feature a review of new continuing education requirements for Florida surplus lines agent and agency licensees.
The Florida Legislature overhauled these requirements in 2012 and the new versions will take effect during October 2014.
For this, the first 2014 edition of the Member’s Forum, FSLSO’s Chris Dunn will be joined by special guest Jean Jeune of the Florida Department of Financial Services to discuss these upcoming changes, what they mean for licensees and how to be prepared.
