Rule Workshop Establishing Uniform Penalty Guidelines for Bail Bond Agents Scheduled for August 11

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Agent and Agency Services (“Division”) has issued a Notice of Rulemaking Development regarding the following Rule Chapter:
- 69B-241: Penalty Guidelines for Bail Bond Agents
The purpose of the proposed Rule Chapter is to establish uniform guidelines to be utilized by the Division in penalizing bail bond agents for violating Florida’s Insurance Code.
The proposed Rule Chapter text is attached.
If a Rule Development Workshop is requested in writing and not deemed unnecessary by the agency head, one will be held at the date, time, and place shown below:
