NIPR Releases 2007 Annual Report

Incorporated in October 1996, the National Insurance Producer Registry (“NIPR”) is a non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. NIPR developed and implemented the Producer Database and Electronic Appointments/Terminations (formerly PIN).

NIPR Releases 2007 Annual Report

ORLANDO, Fla.  (March 29, 2008) — The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) today released its 2007 Annual Report. It contains highlights of the year’s achievements and progress in the area of producer licensing, notably, the success of the Address Change Request (ACR), price reductions and the start of a major re-engineering project in conjunction with the National Association of Insurance Commisisoners (NAIC)

“Our annual report reflects NIPR’s outstanding successes over this past year,” said Maryellen Waggoner, NIPR Executive Director. “The dedication and support of the NIPR Board of Directors continues to drive our vision of making the electronic licensing process easier for all involved. With their support and the combined teamwork of NAIC and NIPR staff, we are streamlining the licensing process through technological innovation.”

Audited financial statements are a prominent feature of the 2007 report.
