House Democrats DRAFT Hurricane Insurance Reform Legislation 1/24/2006

The House Democratic Caucus, led by State Representative Priscilla Taylor (D-Palm Beach), will be hosting a workshop to discuss the proposed Hurricane Insurance Reform legislation during the next committee week (Feb.6-10, 2006). Attached is a preliminary draft of the legislation being sponsored by Rep. Taylor. The bill is in draft form so it does not yet have a bill number. We will monitor the meeting and provide an update on the draft.
