Governor Crist Encourages Students to View Presidential Inauguration

In a January 15 letter to Florida Education Commissioner Eric Smith, Florida Governor Charlie Crist recommend that Florida school districts make viewing of the 44th Presidential Inauguration available to every public school student.

Please see the attached letter sent by Governor Charlie Crist today to Education Commissioner Eric Smith in an effort to promote the civic education of Florida students. In the letter, Governor Crist encourages him to contact all Florida school districts and recommend they make the viewing of the inauguration of our nation’s 44th president available to every public school student.
