Governor Crist & Chief Financial Officer Sink Recommend Milligan Retain Outside Counsel For Analysis Of State Board Of Administration

Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, two Trustees for the State Board of Administration (“SBA”) have issued the following statement regarding their recommendation that SBA Interim Executive Director General Bob Milligan retain outside counsel to assist the SBA.

Governor Charlie Crist and Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, two Trustees for the SBA, today recommended that SBA Interim Executive Director General Bob Milligan retain outside counsel to assist the SBA. 
 
Governor Crist and CFO Sink also offered the following statement:

“It is essential that we examine recent events with the Local Government Investment Pool.  In the interest of our government investors and to restore confidence, all investments sold to the state of Florida must be reviewed.”
