Commission to Consider Request to Submit Model Outside of New Review Cycle
The Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology (“Commission”) will meet on Friday, December 4 to consider a hurricane modeler’s request for permission to submit a hurricane model for review outside of the Commission’s every-other-year review cycle.

Windstorm Committee To Discuss Draft Report
The Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology Windstorm Mitigation Committee (“Committee”) will meet to discuss its draft report on recommendations for improving the process of assessing, determining and applying windstorm mitigation discounts, credits, rate differentials and other appropriate reductions in insurance deductibles. The Committee is required to present its report to Florida Executive and Legislative leadership by February 1, 2010.
