Department of Financial Services Public Hearing re Input on Proposed Rule 69D-2 Insurer Anti-Fraud Investigative Units and Anti-Fraud Plans 5/16/06

Today the Department of Financial Services held a public hearing to gather input on proposed rule 69D-2, F.A.C., regarding Insurer Anti-Fraud Investigative Units and Anti-Fraud Plans. As stated in the proposed rule, the purpose of this rule is to implement current Florida statutes requiring a higher level of detail and accountability for insurer fraud plans and insurer SIU descriptions. Please see the attached rule for details. The record will remain open for seven calendar days from today for the Department to receive comments.
