TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation has a new website that includes extensive information for policyholders, agents and the public, Citizens President Scott Wallace said Wednesday.

“This new website is part of our drive to provide the best customer service possible,” Wallace said. “We want our customers and the public to be able to go to our site and get all the information they need.”

Changes included the listing of toll-free numbers in the “Policyholder Resources” section of the site and a “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)” section that provides answers to questions about Citizens, said Chelsea Garfield, Citizens web content supervisor.

“We used the feedback we received from our users to decide what information should be included in the new design and how that information should be organized,” Garfield said.

Our website is an on-going project, so our users can expect to see continuous improvements, expanded content, and increased number of requested features.”

Garfield said the “Storm Watch” section of the site, which allows users to check the status of Citizens response to storms including no-bind status and Emergency Operation Center deployments, remains a fixture on the sites homepage.

Wallace said the new site was an important part of Citizens drive to provide top-flight customer service. “We have made remarkable strides in the past year with our customer service initiatives,” he said. “This web site is just one more step in our ongoing effort to give our policyholders the kind of service they deserve.”
