U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Hialeah Workers’ Comp Case

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to take up a case that raised questions about the constitutionality of Florida’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance System.  THE NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA reports via CBS Miami.

 

Hurricanes Hermine, Matthew Cost FPL Roughly $350m in Restoration

Hurricane Hermine in September and Hurricane Matthew earlier this month cost Florida Power & Light Co. an estimated $350 million in Power Restoration Costs, the Company said Monday.
