Poe Financial Group Update re Southern Family Insurance Company Rehabilitation 4/26/06

Yesterday, Southern Family Insurance Company was ordered into state-supervised rehabilitation. Its affiliated companies, Atlantic Preferred Insurance Company and Florida Preferred Insurance Company, will enter into rehabilitation on May 1, 2006, and June 1, 2006, respectively. All three companies are members of the Poe Financial Group.
Collectively, more than 280,000 policies will be cancelled as of June, 30, 2006, and Regulators hope to move the cancelled policyholders to Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
