Golbarg (Gina) Riahi

Golbarg (Gina) Riahi serves as an Associate Attorney within the litigation practice group at Colodny Fass, specializing in first-party property insurance defense. Prior to joining Colodny Fass, Ms. Riahi was in-house Counsel at a large property insurance company in the South Florida. In this role, she managed first-party insurance lawsuits and handled complaints such as breach of contract, declaratory actions, and bad faith claims against the insurance company. She negotiated and settled claims in the litigation stage of the proceedings and worked with opposing counsel and the claims department to bring each claim to resolution.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Gina’s family relocated to the Washington D.C. area when she was 9 years old. She pursued her undergraduate education at George Mason University, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, law, and society, with a specialized focus on law. Subsequently, Ms. Riahi earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law with a concentration in Health Law. During her time at Nova, she completed the Family Law Clinic and subsequently spent the first few years of her career as a Family Law Attorney.

Ms. Riahi is fluent in Farsi.  In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and her rescue Pomeranian, Gianni.
