Above: Baptist Hospital of Miami dedicated a maternity waiting area today, July 9, 2010, in the name of The Dosal Family Foundation, which donated $250,000 to be used toward the purchase of a robotic da Vinci Surgical System. The Dosal Family Foundation was founded in 2007 by Margarita Dosal.

The Dosal family eventually became the sole proprietor and in 1992 with the passing of her husband, Martin Roberto Dosal, Margarita Dosal took over the family business and continues to be at the helm of the corporation, making Dosal one of the last family-owned and operated companies of its type in the Sunshine State.
