It’s not too late to apply for a free hurricane home-hardening inspection after all.
Originally, state officials had expected that they would have used up all available inspection spots for the My Safe Florida Home program by last weekend. But as of Tuesday night, about 10,000 inspection spots remained, said Kevin Cate, a spokesman for the state Department of Financial Services.
