The invoice is for producers appointed with companies as of, and including January 17, 2012.  Payment is due on or before March 1, 2012.  A $10.00 penalty fine per producer will be charged for all renewal invoices paid after March 1, 2012.

The LDI requires electronic appointment renewal processing with the NIPR (Refer to Bulletin No. 09-10 for more information on electronic appointments and terminations available on the LDI Website).  NIPR will have the renewal invoice and a list of appointments due for renewal on its Web site on February 1, 2012.  The specific Web page is https://pdb.nipr.com/html/renWelcome.htm.  The invoices will no longer be available after close of business April 30, 2012.

Companies that qualify for an exemption from mandatory electronic processing per Bulletin No. 09-10 are required to obtain their renewal invoice from the NIPR Website, however, the printed invoice and payment by paper check may be sent directly to the LDI.

Appointment renewal invoices will remain posted on the NIPR Web site until April 30, 2012, even after an invoice has been paid.

Producers that have joined a company between January 18, 2012 and April 15, 2012 must have appointments renewed for the new appointment year which begins May 1, 2012.  These producer’s appointments can be made by submitting them electronically through the NIPR between April 15 and April 30.  Appointments received between April 15, 2012 and April 30, 2012 will be effective May 1, 2012.
