Louisiana Department of Insurance Issues Terrorism Risk Data Call

The Louisiana Department of Insurance issued Bulletin No. 2016-05 today, July 29, 2016, to advise that all domestic property and casualty insurers that transact business in terrorism related coverage lines will be examined and the information sought will need to be forwarded directly to the New York Department of Financial Services by September 30, 2016.
This examination is being coordinated by the New York Department of Financial Services (“NYDFS”), which will be contacting domestic insurers with additional instructions. The NYDFS intends to utilize the National Association of Insurance Commissioners to aggregate and analyze the information for the Terrorism Risk Insurance Data Call.
