HCA reorganizes management, names R. Milton Johnson president

 

HCA Holdings Inc. has a new president and the executive in charge of Florida operations has taken on new duties as a result of an internal reorganization.

R. Milton Johnson was promoted to president of the hospital company based in Nashville, Tenn., while also retaining the title and responsibilities of chief financial officer, a company statement said.

Chuck Hall, who has been president of HCA’s Eastern Group covering Florida, South Carolina and southern Georgia, added responsibility for HCA’s operations in Alaska, California, Nevada, Utah and Idaho, the statement said.

Other changes are outlined in the statement.

HCA West Florida, headquartered in Palm Harbor, includes 15 hospitals, 17 ambulatory surgery centers, numerous diagnostic imaging facilities and occupational health sites, an integrated regional lab and a consolidated service center.
