Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph T. Hudgens Announces New Citizenship Affidavit Requirement for Georgia Residents Applying for Licenses, Permits and Certifications Per Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act Notice GID-276-EN

To ensure compliance with the Georgia Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act, Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph T. Hudgens has announced that a Citizenship Affidavit is required from all applicants for licenses, registrations and certifications issued by Georgia’s Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.
Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act Notice GID-276-EN JAN2012 went into effect on January 1, 2012.
