Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Model Holding Company Legislation Finalized

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) issued final versions of its Model Holding Company legislation today, January 22, 2013.
Part of a series of model bills updated recently by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) with the goal of global regulatory convergence, Florida’s ultimate enactment of these bills would assist the OIR in achieving accredited status from the NAIC.
