The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“FHCF”) advised of the following:

March 23-24 Meeting Materials Posted

The FHCF Advisory Council met on March 23 and 24 to review pertinent pending legislation, as well as to hear a presentation on the 2016 Hurricane Season, and review and approve the 2017 FHCF Ratemaking Formula.  To access the meeting materials, click on the hyperlinks below:

 

Hurricane Proof of Loss Reports Due

The FHCF reminds that Participating Insurers whose losses resulting from Hurricane Hermine or Hurricane Matthew have exceeded, or are expected to exceed 50 percent of the company’s FHCF retention are required to submit Form FHCF-L1B Proof of Loss Report for each applicable hurricane no later than March 31, 2017.
