Jan 9, 2018

Florida’s 2018 Regular Legislative Session officially begins today, with Governor Rick Scott scheduled to address a Joint Session of the Florida House of Representatives and Senate at 11 a.m. (ET).

In what will be the eighth and final “State of the State” address of his two-term administration, Governor Scott is expected to highlight his accomplishments in job creation and economic development.  He will also advocate for the passage of a Constitutional amendment that would make it more difficult to raise taxes, and highlight successes of the State’s recovery from Hurricane Irma.
