Adjuster Database Available to Assist Florida Insurers with Policyholder Claims

After the 2004 hurricanes, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (Office) and the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America developed a web-based application enabling adjusting firms to declare adjuster availability and permit insurance companies to more easily locate available adjusters across the state.

This database has been reinstated and is now available for adjusters to populate their availability for adjusting 2005 hurricane-related claims. The Office encourages insurance companies to utilize the adjuster link application to access information regarding the availability of adjusters by county and company.

To use this application, please follow these steps:

1. Point your browser to https://apps.fldfs.com/insurancecompanies and login with User Name which is your Florida Company Code and password is “password”. We recommend you change your password after successfully logging in.

2. Upon access, you will have menu options to update your password, and review the available adjusters by county and company.

It is important to note, the viewable information provided by the adjusters is refreshed frequently. Adjusting firms are required to list only the number of adjusters who are ready, willing, and able to accept and process new claims within each county. Please make certain to check the site frequently for the most accurate and up-to-date adjuster information.

Please send any questions to: AdjusterLink@fldfs.com. Allow 24-48 hours for a reply.
