The business-pushed measure that seeks to reinstate the cap on workers’ compensation lawyers fees is in Senate Banking and Insurance on Wednesday.
The fee schedule for workers’ comp lawyers was thrown out by the Supreme Court in October. The measure (SB 2072) by Sen. Garrett Richter appears on a fast track in both chambers.
