Also in Washington today, the House Appropriations Committee’s Homeland Security Subcommittee holds a hearing on “Disaster Response: Is FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) up to the Challenge?” Among the witnesses is Craig Fugate, director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management. The 10 a.m. hearing is in the Rayburn House Office Building.
