TEST: NCOIL Summer Meeting Report

Representative Keiser (ND) received unanimous support today from the NCOIL property and casualty insurance subcommittee for his resolution that opposes any federal legislation that would restrict a state’s law making ability regarding the use of credit scores in rate making. This resolution was a response to two bills filed this last year that would ban the use of credit score or restrict the use of credit scores. There was very little discussion or debate – it seemed that everyone here was one the same page on the resolution.
