State of Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner Files Certificates of Insurance Rule for Permanent Adoption

The State of Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner filed proposed Rule 2011-30, entitled “Certificates of Insurance,” for permanent adoption on April 16, 2012, with an effective date of May 17, 2012.
This new Rule is intended to prevent the issuance of certificates of insurance that purport to alter the terms of a policy or endorsement of insurance under WAC 284-30-355.
