Citizens Property Insurance Corp. representatives will be in Fort Lauderdale this month to answer policyholders’ questions.
Rep. Evan Jenne, D-Dania Beach, said he’s holding the meeting because his office regularly fields property insurance questions. State-backed Citizens is Florida’s largest property insurer. ‘We get more calls on insurance than just about anything,’ Jenne said. ‘Insurance quite frankly is very confusing even to professionals.’ Policyholders who want to attend must make appointments — which are on a first-come, first-serve basis — by calling Jenne’s office at (954) 321-2760.
The meeting is on Aug. 31 from 2 to 6 p.m. at 3107 Stirling Road, Suite 207.
