OIR Rule Development Workshop: Workers’ Compensation Application and Audit Procedures

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation has issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Development for proposed Rule 69O-189.003: Workers’ Compensation Application and Audit Procedures.
The proposed Rule would allow electronic signatures in the application for workers’ compensation coverage, but not require them. The proposed Rule explicitly specifies those audit procedures that, under the old Rule, were incorporated by reference to National Council on Compensation Insurance publications. Additional audit procedures also are added.
If requested in writing and not deemed unnecessary by the agency head, a Rule Development Workshop will be held at the time, date, and place below:
