Unfair Discrimination Because of Travel Plans

The FSC, on behalf of the OIR, has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Rule number 69O-125.003 relating to unfair discrimination because of travel plans.

If requested in writing within 21 days of the Notice date, a Hearing on these Proposed Rules will be held at:

DATE AND TIME: July 25, 2007, 9:30 a.m.
PLACE: Room 116, Larson Building, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida

The purpose of the Rule is to prohibit discrimination in the sale or pricing of insurance based upon travel plans of the actual or prospective insured.
