News Release: Governor Rick Scott Appoints Dwayne Ingram as Chairman of Board of Directors, Workforce Florida, Inc.

The Office of Governor Rick Scott issued the following news release on September 13, 2011 about the appointment of Dwayne Ingram to the Board of Governors for Workforce Florida, Inc.:

 

Tallahassee, Fla. – Governor Rick Scott announced today the appointment of Dwayne Ingram as chairman of the Board of Directors for Workforce Florida, Inc.

Ingram, 49, of Tampa, has been the executive vice president of airline distribution and IT for Amadeus Americas since 2008.  Previously, he served as Florida senior state executive and general manager at IBM Corporation from 1997 to 2008. Ingram has been a member of Workforce Florida’s board of directors since 2008 and has previously served as a resident member of the Florida Council of 10.  He has also served as a trustee for the Florida Chamber Foundation since 2007.

Ingram received his bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University.  He is appointed as chairman for a term beginning September 13, 2011, and ending at the Pleasure of the Governor.
