NCCI Files Brief In Workers’ Compensation Rate Increase Sunshine Law Violation Appeal

FloridaPolitics.com’s Michael Moline reported today, January 12, 2017, that the National Council on Compensation Insurance has submitted a brief with Florida’s First District Court of Appeal in the ongoing action relating to its workers’ compensation rate increase filing approved by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation on October 5, 2016. 

The NCCI is seeking to overturn a lower court ruling that it had violated Florida’s open government law in developing the proposed increase.
