NAIC/ISAWG May 31 Meeting Materials

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) International Solvency and Accounting (E) Working Group (“ISAWG”) will hold a meeting on Saturday, May 31, 2008 as part of the NAIC Summer 2008 National Meeting scheduled from May 31 through June 2 in San Francisco, California.

• A presentation on Group Issues by Olaf, Ermert, BAFIN (Germany)
• A report on International Association of Insurance Supervisors (“IAIS”) Insurance Groups and Cross-Sectoral Issues Subcommittee activities
• A report on IAIS Solvency Subcommittee activities
• A report on IAIS Insurance Contracts Subcommittee activities
• A report on International Accounting Standards Board (“IASB”) activities
• A discussion regarding the IAIS draft Guidance Paper on Capital Resources
• An introduction of the Group of North American Insurance Enterprises (“GNAIE’s”) IASB-related papers
