Louisiana Commissioner Robert Wooley Resigns 2/02/2006

Today Commissioner Robert Wooley resigned his position as Insurance Commissioner for the state of Louisiana. Commissioner Wooley was appointed to the position in October of 2000 and was officially elected Insurance Commissioner in November of 2003. Senior staff member, Jim Donelon, will serve as acting Commissioner for the remainder of Commissioner Wooley’s term and is expected to announce his candidacy for the statewide elected position.
