As of July 2011, the Kentucky Insurance Department has amended Regulation 806 KAR 12:170, entitled “Life insurance disclosures,” which establishes requirements for insurers to deliver information to purchasers of life insurance

The Kentucky Insurance Department has amended Regulation 806 KAR 12:170, entitled “Life insurance disclosures,” which establishes requirements for insurers to deliver information to purchasers of life insurance. 

This information is designed to improve the buyer’s ability to select the most appropriate plan of life insurance for his or her needs, as well as to improve the buyer’s understanding of the policy basic features that have been purchased or are under consideration.
