Hernando group organizes trip to protest Citizens Property Insurance increase
United Communities of Hernando County has organized a bus trip to the rally/meeting that is in protest of the proposed 471-percent sinkhole insurance rate increase by Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
The rally, organized by Florida Sen. Mike Fasano, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Pasco County Government Center, 7530 Little Road. The bus will leave at 3 p.m. from the Towne Square Mall, 3021 Commercial Way (across from Timber Pines).
Since a head count is needed to ensure enough buses, those wishing to take the bus to the rally should call John Bloom at (352) 686-1851 or Joanne Murray at (352) 686-3418 (leave a message at either number).
