FPCA: SERA 2008 Registration Open

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation is hosting the 2008 Southeastern Regulators Association (“SERA”) Conference on October 19-21 in Orlando, Florida at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.
SERA 2008 features Sandy Praeger, NAIC President and Kansas Insurance Commissioner as Keynote Speaker and Dr. Bob Hartwig of the Information Insurance Institute as guest speaker. The Conference begins with a golf tournament on the Disney Palm Course and an evening reception.
SERA, which comprises 12 states, the Virgin Islands and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, first convened in 1963. By 1969, SERA member states were hosting rotating meetings that continue to provide an annual forum for regulators and insurance industry personnel to discuss mutual interests and concerns, and to formulate possible solutions.
