FPCA Homeowners Division: SERC Alternative Proposal Filed with the SBA

The Florida Property & Casualty Association and the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America filed a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative for Proposed Rules 19-8.029 and 19-8.030 with the State Board of Administration (SBA) on Friday, January 7, 2011. A copy of the filing is attached.
The SBA is planning to hold the January 25, 2011 hearing on the Proposed Rules notwithstanding Governor Scott’s Executive Order suspending rulemaking.
