In advance of any possible Legislative action to revive the No-Fault sunset effected at the close of the 2000 Session, affiliates of Floridians For Lower Insurance Costs (FLIC), which is an entity essentially constructed and managed by State Farm, have been working to assemble drafts of public relations material designed to generate advance grass roots support for any attempts at reconsideration of the No-Fault sunset.

Drafts of those materials are enclosed for your review prior to the May 17th meeting, including:

  • talking points for use in communicating with internal grassroots associates
  • a coalition update that is being sent to all of FLIC’s 8,281 coalition members
  • two suggested letter templates – one for lawmakers, the other for customers
  • A response to last Wednesday’s St. Petersburg Times editorial

An additional editorial on No-Fault legislation ran in Friday’s Palm Beach Post.  To read the article, click here.

Other no-fault-related activities include a “show and luncheon” in support of maintaining no-fault/PIP by the Specialty Agents of Florida this Saturday, May 19th in Orlando.  The event flyer is enclosed for your review.
