Insurance attorney A. Abidemi Oladipo has joined the law and government consulting firm Colodny Fass& Webb as an Associate.  As a member of the Firm’s Insurance Litigation and Business, Administrative and Commercial Law Divisions, he provides legal counsel and litigation services to business and insurance company clients.

Most recently, he was an Associate with Bazinsky, Korman & Baker, P.A.  He has served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit, and also worked in the Public Lands Section of the Office of the General Counsel for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.  While in this role, he focused on matters involving land use, eminent domain, navigational servitude, intellectual property and public records law.

Mr. Oladipo has experience with alternative dispute resolution and negotiating strategic settlements, as well as  first- and third-party property and general commercial liability disputes.  For clients, he regularly drafts legal opinions on issues such as insurer coverage obligations, insurers’ duty to defend, and has pursued and defended declaratory judgment actions in Florida courts.  His past clients include insurers and other corporations.

He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Olapido earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
