A Rule requiring insurers to electronically submit data for all sinkhole or catastrophic ground cover collapse claims (confirmed on or after January 1, 2005) to the Florida Department of Financial Services’ Division of Consumer Services is proposed for repeal.

Rulemaking authority and implemented law were repealed in 2011 for the Rule, 69J-9.001, F.A.C., which relates to Florida’s sinkhole insurance claim database.

If requested in writing on or before March 6, 2015, a hearing will be scheduled in Tallahassee on March 11.
