Florida Supreme Court Maintains Medical Malpractice Non-Economic Damage Caps are Unconstitutional

In a close and divided opinion issued today, June 8, 2017, the Florida Supreme Court upheld its 2014 ruling that personal injury non-economic damage caps in medical malpractice cases are unconstitutional.
