Florida Senate Policy Steering Committee on Ways and Means to Hear FHCF Financial Condition Testimony
The Florida Senate Policy and Steering Committee on Ways and Means will hold a meeting on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. in Room 412 of the Knott Building, The Capitol, Tallahassee, Florida.
Senator J.D. Alexander (R-Winterhaven) has called Senior Officer of the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“FHCF”) Jack Nicholson to testify about the financial condition of the FHCF.
Other items scheduled to be discussed include:
- An update on the federal stimulus package
- An update on Special Session legislation implementation
- A presentation on health insurance dependent eligibility
A budget work session also will be held.
