Florida House Speaker Says Correcting Workers’ Comp and Assignment of Benefits Would Better Serve to Create Jobs

In an interview with the Miami Herald yesterday, March 23, 2017, Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran suggested that the State of Florida could create more jobs by focusing on workers’ compensation and assignment of benefits reform.

His remarks were made in the context of the ongoing issues surrounding the proposed elimination of Enterprise Florida and Visit Florida, the State’s top economic development and tourism promotion agencies, respectively.
