Florida Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

 

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Anna Patricia Morales-Christiansen, Nicolas W. Romanello, Jr., and Gregor J. “Greg” Schwinghammer to the Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

 Morales-Christiansen, 42, of Lake Worth, has practiced with Casey, Ciklin, Lubitz, Marten, McBane and O’Connell since 1995. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Rutgers University. She succeeds Lorin Louis Mrachek and is appointed for a term beginning October 11, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016. Morales-Christiansen is appointed from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar.

 Romanello, 44, of West Palm Beach, has served as the General Counsel for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County since June 2012, and served as the District’s Legal Counsel from 2006-2011. Previously, Romanello served as the General Counsel for the Florida Department of Health from 2011-2012. He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his law degree from St. Thomas University. He succeeds John F. Mariani and is appointed for a term beginning October 11, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.

 Schwinghammer, 46, of West Palm Beach, has practiced with Gunster, Yoakley and Stewart, PA since 1996. Previously, Schwinghammer served in the U.S. Army from 1988-1993. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the University of Miami. He succeeds Thomas DeRita, Jr. and is appointed for a term beginning October 11, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.
