Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Seeking Proposals For January 2010 Systemic Reform Symposium Workshops

The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (“DJJ”) is requesting proposals for workshops and panels to be held during an upcoming symposium entitled “Reinvesting in Success:  Effective Youth Interventions” scheduled for January 27 through 29, 2010 in Orlando.

The DJJ is requesting that proposals be submitted by Wednesday, October 21.  Possible topics could include training methods, programs, policies, and/or research results that have proven to be the most effective in juvenile justice system reform.

Presenters are encouraged to engage their audiences in interactive sessions and provide handouts.
