Florida insurance agents to meet here
The Florida Association of Insurance Agents meets in Kissimmee for its 103rd Anniversary Convention & Education Symposium, beginning Thursday.
Speakers at the event, with the theme "Legacy of Leadership," include Robert Payne, president and chief executive officer of the National Office of Statutory Insurance Ethics; Charles Kavitsky, CEO of Fireman’s Fund; and boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard.
The conference will include seminars about legislative efforts affecting the insurance industry, the Florida building code, the surplus-lines marketplace, and how to make individual agencies more efficient operations.
The meeting, at the Gaylord Palms Resort Hotel & Convention Center, lasts through Saturday.
