The Florida DOR, Division of Corporate, Estate and Intangible Tax has issued a Notice of Rulemaking Development regarding the following Rules relating to the alternative minimum tax credit calculation and the expansion of the Florida Nonprofit Scholarship Program to include insurance premium tax credits:

  • 12C-1.0186: Credit for Florida Alternative Minimum Tax
  • 12C-1.0187: Credits for Contributions to Nonprofit Scholarship Funding Organizations
  • 12C-1.051: Forms

Proposed amendments to Rule 12B-8.001:  Premium Tax; Rate and Computation that would expand the nonprofit scholarship funding organization credit program to include a credit against the insurance premium tax also are scheduled to be discussed.  To view the Notice of Rulemaking Development for this Rule, click here.
