Comment Period Opens on Proposed 2018-2019 Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Insurer Reporting Requirements and Responsibilities Rule

The time window to submit written comments opened today, December 18, 2017, on the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund’s (“FHCF’s”) Insurer Reporting Requirements and Responsibilities proposed Rule 19-8.029, F.A.C. for the 2018-2019 FHCF Contract Year.

In general, the proposed Rule addresses reporting and examination requirements.  The revisions would adopt the 2018-2019 FHCF Data Call for exposure reporting, the forms for loss reporting, and forms relating to exposure examinations and loss examinations.  They would also delete obsolete or duplicative material and provide additional clarification.

The comment period closes on January 8, 2018.
